LED traffic signal lights are an important component of traffic signal command and the basic language of road traffic. Traffic lights consist of red lights (indicating prohibition of passage), green lights (indicating permission to pass), and yellow lights (indicating warning).

LED traffic signal lights are divided into: motor vehicle signal lights, non motor vehicle signal lights, pedestrian crossing signal lights, lane signal lights, direction indicator signal lights, flashing warning signal lights, and road and railway level intersection signal lights. Widely used in dangerous road sections with safety hazards such as highway intersections, bends, bridges, etc., to direct drivers or pedestrians in traffic, promote smooth traffic flow, and avoid traffic accidents and unexpected incidents.

LED (Light Emitting Diode) is a new type of light source developed and produced in recent years, which has the advantages of low power consumption (current only 10-20mA), high brightness (light intensity up to tens of thousands of mcd), small size (minimum diameter up to 3mm), light weight (one light emitting diode weighs only a few grams), and long lifespan (average lifespan of 100000 hours). It has gradually replaced incandescent lamps and low-voltage halogen lamps in the production of road traffic signal lights.
